ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the Senate and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has said that the Minister for Interior Affairs Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has nightmares all day and night as he (Aitzaz) is riding on his nerves.
Aitzaz said that Nisar suffers from nightmares due to him. Aitzaz said this in reaction to Nisar’s statement against him a few days ago. Earlier, the interior minister had criticised Aitzaz saying that he had become a very big lawyer but he should try to become a thorough gentleman as well.
On a question regarding the investigations of Panama leaks, he expressed his concern that the meetings of the Terms of Reference Committee might not bear fruit. He said that he showed a lot of flexibility during talks with the government but even then he was criticised.
A parliamentary committee was formed with six members each from the opposition and the government to finalise the Terms of References for probe into Panama leaks’ allegations against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s family.
