ISLAMABAD: The strike called by joint Hurriyet leadership has crippled life in Kashmir as the valley remains shut for the 111th consecutive day.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Kashmir has remained shut since July 9 due to strikes against the extrajudicial murder of renowned freedom-fighter, Burhan Wani, and the constant killing of civilians by the force used by Indian police and troops on peaceful protests.
Shops, business establishments, fuel stations and educational institutions, including schools and colleges, remain closed.
The puppet authorities have deployed large number of Indian forces at all places and along the main roads to prevent people from staging anti-India demonstrations.
