KHAIRPUR: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Court Sukkur convicted two officials of State Life Insurance on Saturday.
According to details, Abdul Rasheed Shah awarded imprisonment of seven years to accused Ayaz Shaikh along with fine of Rs 1.4 million, while five years’ jail was awarded to Taqi Shah along with fine of Rs 0.5 million.
The court acquired three other officials including Fazal Karim, Sikander Ali Memon and Taimoor Ahmed but the prosecution failed to prove them guilty. They were alleged that they misappropriated funds of millions of rupees by making bogus bills and vouchers.
